Intentionally causing serious injury

To view a past case dealing with appeals against conviction and sentence by a man convicted of intentionally causing serious injury to the victim, by stabbing, see http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/cases/vic/VSCA/2002/231.html.

The Court considered whether the trial Judge’s jury directions on the topic of self-defence were adequate. The appeal against sentence was allowed on the basis that the sentence was manifestly excessive.
